The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patric Mattsson during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Patric Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonny Rosén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Blair Buckle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Staffordshire Terrier FC booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Söder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's Sonny Rosén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blair Buckle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mean Machine's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Rich Clough scored to the left of an out of position Viggo Vallin, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reggie Hibbert during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Staffordshire Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Hibbert. During the 20th minute of the match Patric Mattsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patric Mattsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 21st minute, Patric Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Staffordshire Terrier FC were awarded a corner. Jeff Weir went to the cornerflag to take it. Viggo Vallin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rich Clough showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Esbjörn Drake kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Esbjörn Drake charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esbjörn Drake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rich Clough in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viggo Vallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 minutes of play, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Rich Clough made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viggo Vallin was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Graham Long nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viggo Vallin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Henrik Söder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viggo Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graham Long, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viggo Vallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graham Long in the 60th minute of play. Blair Buckle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Johan Rudberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Staffordshire Terrier FC reached it. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Graham Long managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sven-Arne Gernberg in the 77 minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henrik Söder fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 91st minute, Rich Clough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blair Buckle was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Hubert Nordmark capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hubert Nordmark really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Staffordshire Terrier FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mean Machine for a fine match.
