But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Zieba couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Stefan Skonieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bianco Caroselli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustaw Misiewicz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Konstanty Dropinski kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Augusto Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Majkowski in the 67th minute. Jerzy Zieba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Augusto Massa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Bianco Caroselli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
