Adolfo Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisinho dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Cordarrell having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho de Almeida came free, but Adolfo Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Gonçalves. Elói Lima was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anselmo Telmo. When Ogro F.C.'s Durvalino Abraão in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Ogro F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Desiderio Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Ogro F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho dos Santos in the 52nd minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ogro F.C.'s Elói Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Modestio in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Chale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Luisinho dos Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfo Cordarrell. The goal made the score 0-3. After some careless play in the Vikingos FC defense, Celsinho de Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Cordarrell. The Vikingos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Cordarrell should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Celsinho de Almeida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Luisinho dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Cordarrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celsinho de Almeida in the 88th minute. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Celsinho de Almeida took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Adolfo Cordarrell to make any attempt to save it. After 93 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Ramos. Ogro F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
