The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frans Machiels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Lima having to interfere. Gilliam Roelandts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Elói Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustav Vorster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Luisinho dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Vorster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Frans Machiels. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Karel Schipmans got a free kick in the 28th minute. Albertinho Ramos missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 29 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gustav Vorster right hand side. After having played for 31 minutes, Diederik Huijberechts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limburg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diederik Huijberechts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustav Vorster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho dos Santos went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lieven Balckmans during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilliam Roelandts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Albertinho Ramos hit a great ball. Gustav Vorster made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Luisinho dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho dos Santos in the 61st minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Gustav Vorster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
