Vikingos FC's Adolfo Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Machiels in the 21st minute of play. Anier Ubarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustav Vorster having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Diederik Huijberechts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Cordarrell. Vikingos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diederik Huijberechts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 32 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Diederik Huijberechts. After 34 minutes of play Limburg United's Artur Van De Wijngaert was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 35th minute, Artur Van De Wijngaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Gustav Vorster made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Modestio in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustav Vorster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. German Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Modestio came free, but Gustav Vorster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when German Herensuge came free, but Gustav Vorster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
