The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edson Guimarães hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Josué das Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Master Champion BMX Flat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB the free kick. Josué das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Rick Kile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dário Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Rufus Haydock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Simões in the 20th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Master Champion BMX Flat got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz de Godoi. In the 21st minute, Rick Kile got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rufus Haydock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz de Godoi in the 31st minute of play. When Didi Secco fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Master Champion BMX Flat's protests and gave Didi Secco a yellow card for diving instead. Didi Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Josué das Neves got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB booed when Master Champion BMX Flat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Dwight Jeffress managed to get in a good position for a shot. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Dwight Jeffress was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dwight Jeffress's late challenge caught a Master Champion BMX Flat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dwight Jeffress helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwight Jeffress to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Dwight Jeffress hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's goalkeeper Rufus Haydock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dário Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rick Kile's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Master Champion BMX Flat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rick Kile took the corner. Dwight Jeffress sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Master Champion BMX Flat's goalkeeper Dário Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rick Kile scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rufus Haydock made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when André Luiz de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Rick Kile notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Master Champion BMX Flat's Dário Rodrigues. Dário Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Master Champion BMX Flat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rick Kile was slow to take the kick. During this time AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Master Champion BMX Flat's goalie and right to Mitchell Petty. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Master Champion BMX Flat's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dário Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Kile in the 80th minute of the match. Master Champion BMX Flat's Dário Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Petty in the 84th minute of play. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Dwight Jeffress got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Cleiton Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Master Champion BMX Flat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB the free kick. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB made a substitution. Roger Oreilly replaced Ralph Turner. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
