The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Käka Puck BK's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Tasso came free, but Gösta Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Söderström scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 played minutes Käka Puck BK got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Borre. In the 20th minute of the match Edson Guimarães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gösta Carlsson skillfully saved the ball. Egon Stenquist hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Edson Guimarães took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gösta Carlsson. Käka Puck BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Casper Söderström's late challenge caught a Master Champion BMX Flat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper Söderström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Käka Puck BK's Casper Söderström got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Edson Guimarães took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gösta Carlsson. Käka Puck BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gösta Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Käka Puck BK booed when Master Champion BMX Flat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Simões hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Simões got free with Gösta Carlsson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 45 minutes, Edson Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Master Champion BMX Flat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edson Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Käka Puck BK's Gösta Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Simões in the 47th minute of play. The Master Champion BMX Flat players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Käka Puck BK were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Allan Odin made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Käka Puck BK's Peter Lövgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Maurinho Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Käka Puck BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurinho Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Master Champion BMX Flat's Maurinho Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 68th minute. Master Champion BMX Flat's Dário Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Master Champion BMX Flat from getting a goal against them. Dário Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Odin in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Allan Odin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dário Rodrigues, passed just outside the right post. In the 92nd minute, Roy Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, Master Champion BMX Flat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Tasso to maneuver through the defense.
