Purple Talents's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olavo Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remco Van Der Elst, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Carel Tilemans struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Olavo Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purple Talents. Purple Talents's supporters rose to their feet, but Remco Van Der Elst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Purple Talents fully deserved thier win.
