Finninge Fotboll's John Larsson got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Elano Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zézinho Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zandarin FC's protests and gave Zézinho Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Finninge Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Hääger. Magne Axelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernani Brito's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Zé Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A hard shot by John Larsson from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Raphael de Queiroz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. During the 40th minute of the match Zézinho Azevedo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zézinho Azevedo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 40 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Azevedo.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Larsson was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Finninge Fotboll booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Ramos's late challenge caught a Finninge Fotboll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Ramos. 90 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Zander came free, but Raphael de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Finninge Fotboll fully deserved thier win.
