Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when David Alvarenga got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Garcia in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Braga in the 8th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Raphael de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Francisco Garcia. But to his dismay, Francisco Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Artur Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raphael de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Renatinho Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael de Queiroz having to interfere. Raphael de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Braga in the 37th minute of play. David Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Desportiva Paulo Afonso were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Desportiva Paulo Afonso booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Paes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Olavo Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Zézinho Azevedo's late challenge caught a Desportiva Paulo Afonso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Zandarin FC's Raphael de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Zandarin FC from getting a goal against them. Luizinho Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Fernandinho Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Raphael de Queiroz made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatinho Braga got free with Raphael de Queiroz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Garcia in the 90th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Raphael de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Renatinho Braga sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Artur Rezende got a free kick in the 95th minute.
