The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cederique De Kepper who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Eliseu Tasso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emiel Reijniers kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Erik Moreira scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Campens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Remco Van Der Elst put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eliseu Tasso. 13 minutes into the match, Cederique De Kepper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseu Tasso. Encanto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cederique De Kepper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Eliseu Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remco Van Der Elst in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Eliseu Tasso managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Purple Talents's Cederique De Kepper fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eliseu Tasso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cederique De Kepper sent off a good shot on target. Celso Eger's late challenge caught a Purple Talents's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Eger helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when Encanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remco Van Der Elst's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Eliseu Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cederique De Kepper in the 30th minute. Eliseu Tasso made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Remco Van Der Elst sent off a good shot on target. Cederique De Kepper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Eliseu Tasso made a huge save. Eliseu Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remco Van Der Elst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseu Tasso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Eliseu Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lieven Omblets, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lieven Omblets made a kick off. Dirk Smets hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eliseu Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remco Van Der Elst in the 54th minute of the match. Eliseu Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remco Van Der Elst in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Encanto defense, Lieven Omblets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Tasso. Dorian Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Cederique De Kepper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lieven Omblets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Lieven Omblets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lieven Omblets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseu Tasso was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Eliseu Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levi Audenaert in the 93rd minute of the match.
