Mauricio Quinito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CAM Football Club booed when Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's zone, Bernabe Eztebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Campidelis came out of the goal and Bernabe Eztebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Jaume in the 37th minute of play. CAM Football Club's Eduardo Frisco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sidney Campidelis but with some difficulty. Mauricio Quinito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes CAM Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Igor Honesto. In the 42nd minute of the match Artur Rezende shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauricio Quinito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Eztebe made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Anderson Tavares got a free kick in the 50th minute. Sidney Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Honesto in the 63rd minute of the match. Igor Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sidney Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CAM Football Club's Emanuel Fernado was substituted for Carolo Jaume. In the 86th minute, Igor Honesto made a precise shot to the right of Sidney Campidelis. Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 90 minutes, Emanuel Fernado made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Sidney Campidelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 95 minutes of play, CAM Football Club's Igor Honesto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney Campidelis was left in no man's land by his defense there!
