Cebollitas F.C.'s Eriberto Enmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Pudes in the 16th minute of play. Vicente Garaona hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Isidro Ignazio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Diamante U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cebollitas F.C. the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cebollitas F.C.'s zone, Jeronimo Pudes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Enmanuel came out of the goal and Jeronimo Pudes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Enmanuel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Pudes went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Jeronimo Pudes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Enmanuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Candido Oso made a kick off. If Vladimiro Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Cebollitas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Pudes came free, but Eriberto Enmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Diamante U18 had played much better football throughout.
