But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléber Cosme couldn't finish the play. Baltazar Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldão dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Cosme in the 10th minute of play. Cléber Cosme's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Ronaldão dos Santos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Diego Capixaba's late challenge caught a Quebra Ossos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Sílvio Luís Matorin got a free kick in the 15th minute. Diego Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ronaldão dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gino do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Marinho in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Pombal to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Corrêa in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gino do Nascimento saved Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ from getting behind.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Marinho in the 58th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Gino do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Cosme in the 60th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Pombal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Macedo. Téo Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gino do Nascimento. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Carlos Augusto Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Quebra Ossos FC fans jumped to their feet. Diego Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão dos Santos having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Betão Marinho. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quebra Ossos FC:s goal. In the 85th minute, Cléber Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldão dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléber Cosme in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldão dos Santos saved Quebra Ossos FC from getting behind. After 93 minutes, Luís Gustavo de Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebra Ossos FC and the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo de Lima. Baltazar Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quebra Ossos FC's zone, Diego Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão dos Santos came out of the goal and Diego Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quebra Ossos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
