In the 13th minute, Bradley Cody ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Manilan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Norton in the 16th minute of play forced Guqueri F.C.'s goalkeeper Pastor Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Bradley Cody got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Norton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Manilan was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The Guqueri F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Manilan should have stopped the shot. River tu grato nombre's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
