Figueira SC FSCMZ's Alexsandro Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Cara in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Vlashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Cojan to maneuver through the defense. When Joel Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Figueira SC FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Rosado couldn't finish the play. Florin Corocăescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Carioca having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Dacian Cara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vlashers and the Figueira SC FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vlashers's Dacian Cara got a free kick in the 17th minute. Obidimkpa Saabøll kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Narcis Popete was a little too slow when Simão Pinheiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Vlashers booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Alexsandro Carioca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fábio Arantes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Vlashers's Dacian Cara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexsandro Carioca in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Shefki Vladavić struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Alexsandro Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlashers. Narcis Popete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelinho Dias went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 64 minutes, Vlad Bitang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vlashers and the Figueira SC FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute Marcelinho Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Popete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho Dias in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Popete saved Vlashers from getting behind. Emilian Arotăriței tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Narcis Popete. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Vlad Bitang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Cara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Alexsandro Carioca made a huge save. Waldemar Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Narcis Popete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narcis Popete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Vlashers defense, Waldemar Maranhense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narcis Popete. The Vlashers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narcis Popete should have stopped the shot. Narcis Popete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Maranhense in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Pinheiro in the 95th minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Narcis Popete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vlashers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Figueira SC FSCMZ.
