The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Casanande got free with Arvin Åström in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 minutes of play, Barcelona de América's Garcia Puga made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Åström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Barcelona de América booed when Mansfield Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Nordlander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Åström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Criado in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Nordlander in the 19th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Guerrero Marva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Jimmie Alström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guerrero Marva. Barcelona de América's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimmie Alström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dick Bagge kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Ulises Casanande dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arvin Åström, 4-1. A collision led to Mansfield Town FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Martin Ström hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes Barcelona de América got a freekick which was hit by Iachetti Blasco. Martin Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Barcelona de América's Juan Sobre was substituted for Luis-Antonio Hompanera. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Knut Rolfsson made a kick off. Guerrero Marva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Alström in the 55th minute of play. Arvin Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sobre, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Martin Ström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mansfield Town FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona de América the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Mansfield Town FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ström to maneuver through the defense. Barcelona de América's Guerrero Marva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Rolfsson in the 73rd minute of play. Martin Ström got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Mansfield Town FC's Martin Ström got a free kick in the 76th minute. Guerrero Marva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Knut Rolfsson in the 79th minute. Arvin Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Criado in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mansfield Town FC defense, Ulises Casanande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvin Åström. The Mansfield Town FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvin Åström should have stopped the shot. Jimmie Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Ulises Casanande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mansfield Town FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barcelona de América.
