Hal Chatman struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Andaka Gamel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flames FC. 5 minutes into the match, Hans Lavallée dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andaka Gamel, 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Richards to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ty Lapierre during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aimé Ham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrício Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Delta FS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolas Raposo in the 16th minute. Nicolas Raposo made a great header on Delta FS's corner, it was just that Flames FC's Aimé Ham managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 17 minutes, Putu Molek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delta FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Putu Molek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Flames FC booed when Delta FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Fagundes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goal looked a bit too open when Damion Déziel came free, but Andaka Gamel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dário Zarco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aimé Ham having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ty Lapierre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flames FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ty Lapierre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andaka Gamel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ty Lapierre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andaka Gamel having to interfere. Andaka Gamel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Lavallée, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Lavallée sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Flames FC's Hans Lavallée got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Lavallée in the 55th minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Andaka Gamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Flames FC's Ty Lapierre got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hal Chatman hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Hans Lavallée ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andaka Gamel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flames FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Delta FS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
