Flames FC's Ernesto Blanchard got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. John Richards hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Mambru Esperta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aimé Ham was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Flames FC's Aimé Ham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mambru Esperta in the 38th minute of play. Aimé Ham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mambru Esperta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Flames FC booed when La mano de D10S was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Ocaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mambru Esperta came free, but Aimé Ham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aimé Ham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mambru Esperta, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aimé Ham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mambru Esperta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 63 minutes, Delmiro Pardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La mano de D10S and the Flames FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aimé Ham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iratze Batuecas in the 91st minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Iratze Batuecas sped through Flames FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aimé Ham.
