Elkin Corel charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elkin Corel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Flames FC's Hans Lavallée ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vigil Blanquel. Vigil Blanquel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Umbruso Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ...Pingue S.C....'s protests and gave Umbruso Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. Robin Oces blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aimé Ham having to make a save. In the 25th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Kirby to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Xizavier Monterinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aimé Ham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes, ...Pingue S.C....'s Robin Oces shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aimé Ham came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ...Pingue S.C.... reached it. The supporters of ...Pingue S.C.... booed when Flames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Lavallée didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flames FC's Aimé Ham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Villaverde in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of ...Pingue S.C.... booed when Flames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Lavallée didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd minute Hal Chatman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vigil Blanquel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, ...Pingue S.C.... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umbruso Santiago to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Flames FC booed when ...Pingue S.C.... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Oces didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Oces in the 71st minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Aimé Ham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Villaverdes short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Aimé Ham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute, ...Pingue S.C....'s Xizavier Monterinos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aimé Ham. Aimé Ham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xizavier Monterinos in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aimé Ham saved Flames FC from getting behind. Carlos Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vigil Blanquel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vigil Blanquel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Lavallée in the 87th minute of play. When Xizavier Monterinos came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ...Pingue S.C.... fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xizavier Monterinos couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flames FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ...Pingue S.C.... had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
