After some careless play in the Pendex defense, Antonio Katia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Haimar. The Pendex fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Haimar should have stopped the shot. Anier Ciceron was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cardo Ruso Cordobés! 1-2 came through a penalty shot after 27 played minutes, when Pendex:s Godofredo Nayely calmly waited for Cardo Ruso Cordobés:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 29th match minute, Pendex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Pendex's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florentino Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Igor Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pendex players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cardo Ruso Cordobés were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Precioso to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Louis came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pendex's Teofilo Constancio. But to his dismay, Teofilo Constancio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Teofilo Constancio came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Pendex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Constancio couldn't finish the play. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Aureliano Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Constancio in the 59th minute of play. Florentino Haimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 88th minute Teofilo Constancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Louis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Harkaitz in the 89th minute of the match. Romulo Harkaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Aureliano Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Haimar was a little too slow when Ruperto Innocenzio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-4. The Pendex supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cardo Ruso Cordobés's performance. The match ended with a win for Cardo Ruso Cordobés.
