Jeremias Manex struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Florentino Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Nacional. Florentino Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Manex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Pendex's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Refugio came free, but Florentino Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pendex were furious when Damaso Rik was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Damaso Rik hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Atlético Nacional's Jeremias Manex broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ceferino Gartzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Santos having to make a save. After 22 minutes of play, Pendex's Ceferino Gartzi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Atlético Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Gartzi came free, but Fermin Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Gartzi in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Justo Txurio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pendex's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Nacional the free kick. The supporters of Atlético Nacional booed when Pendex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Moises Abel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florentino Haimar. Moises Abel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 47 minutes into the match, Atlético Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Elorri came free, but Fermin Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 51st minute, Cristian Gauargi made a precise shot to the right of Fermin Santos. Atlético Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 56th minute, Narciso Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Manex in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Fermin Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Elorri. Amado Balendin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Julian Elorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pendex walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
