Bialski Bastion Legii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luiz Fabiano Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Makomaski having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Wanderson Valadares made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Makomaski. Bialski Bastion Legii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luiz Fabiano Guedes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Tobiasz Dudkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bialski Bastion Legii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Witomir Wejta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Kaká Lopes made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Alberto Couto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Makomaski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ksawery Oliszewski during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Jenipapo SC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cafu Catarinense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Witomir Wejta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jenipapo SC and the Bialski Bastion Legii players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bialski Bastion Legii booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Valadares in the 62nd minute of play forced Bialski Bastion Legii's goalkeeper Stefan Makomaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Passos. Bialski Bastion Legii's Stefan Makomaski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Bialski Bastion Legii from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Jenipapo SC's Cafu Catarinense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stefan Makomaski. Stefan Makomaski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 73rd minute Tobiasz Dudkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Wanderson Valadares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Makomaski. That made the score 3-6 in the 91 minute of play. Stefan Makomaski came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Wanderson Valadares. But to his dismay, Wanderson Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jenipapo SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
