The audience thought a goal was coming when Jay Mullen got free with Iker Gagriel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th match minute, AC LeX Luthor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Servando to maneuver through the defense. AC LeX Luthor's Iker Gagriel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Hotz to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Toovey came free, but Iker Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Braulio Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC LeX Luthor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Hotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iker Gagriel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egg Chasers FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
