After having played for 77 minutes, Ludwig Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gafflarna IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fredric Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fredric Fågel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Åhlberg was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Henry Åhlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sören Odman went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The Gnaget United FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
