Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) CLATHU's Jacobo Sabin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to CSD Concepción getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Eduard Novajas hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Barros in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Evis saved CLATHU from getting behind. In the 29th minute Santiago Macuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Armando Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, CLATHU's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Macuer came free, but Dario Evis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Santiago Macuer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSD Concepción's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Macuer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CLATHU's Dario Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Barros in the 37th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Teofilo Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLATHU's Dario Evis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Llin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Rosendo Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Evis having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Teofilo Barros made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Macuer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Barros got free with Dario Evis in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Rene Irrintzi got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Santiago Macuer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Evis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Barros's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Carmelo Llin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Teofilo Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Teofilo Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Evis. CLATHU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 83rd minute, CSD Concepción's Teofilo Barros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Jaume Balcazar scored 1-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Evis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CSD Concepción eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
