Odysseus De Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Odysseus De Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odysseus De Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odysseus De Souza in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omiros Bakogiannopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos stood somewhat misplaced when Ulric Donsante came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseus De Souza in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, MICE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Odysseus De Souza came free, but Omiros Bakogiannopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MICE F.C.'s zone, Florian Diederich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos came out of the goal and Florian Diederich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Omiros Bakogiannopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Haller. Odysseus De Souza succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Odysseus De Souza's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Max Sevier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodosis Theodorakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Florian Diederich came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Lugano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Diederich couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulric Donsante got free with Omiros Bakogiannopoulos in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odysseus De Souza in the 32nd minute of the match. Ulric Donsante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Omiros Bakogiannopoulos made a huge save. In the 36th play minute Ulric Donsante came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Omiros Bakogiannopoulos. 4-0. FC Lugano's Tiziano Gamache was substituted for Ulric Donsante. Odysseus De Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Theodosis Theodorakoglou hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiziano Gamache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odysseus De Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Bakogiannopoulos having to interfere. FC Lugano made a substitution. Fidelio Haller replaced Fedor Adler. A collision led to MICE F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tasos Tsirigopoulos hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Florian Diederich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Diederich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Odysseus De Souza put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Omiros Bakogiannopoulos. FC Lugano's Tiziano Gamache got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiziano Gamache in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Odysseus De Souza notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of MICE F.C.'s Omiros Bakogiannopoulos. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Lugano's Matteo Gartenmann was substituted for Odysseus De Souza. In the 86th minute of the match Stephen Witschard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omiros Bakogiannopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, MICE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Buser came free, but Omiros Bakogiannopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Loukas Kokkinias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MICE F.C. and the FC Lugano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when MICE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loukas Kokkinias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Tiziano Gamache put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Omiros Bakogiannopoulos. In the 94th minute Matteo Gartenmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Bakogiannopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FC Lugano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
