The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Camron Bullard fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrows Academy FC's protests and gave Camron Bullard a yellow card for diving instead. Camron Bullard hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Allan Vinström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rex Marler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Arrows Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Hill to maneuver through the defense. Arrows Academy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Jens-Ove Käcker scored to the left of an out of position Rex Marler, making the score, 1-0. If Allan Vinström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Vinström got free with Rex Marler in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Ahlerot. Rex Marler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Botvidsson in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Fredric Botvidsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rex Marler. The goal made the score 2-0. Arrows Academy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Fredric Botvidsson scored to the left of an out of position Rex Marler, making the score, 3-0. Arrows Academy FC's Camron Bullard got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Camron Bullard off the ground. Camron Bullard hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Arrows Academy FC's Rex Marler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Arrows Academy FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Botvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Knut Blom during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The wind increased when Simon Roche made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Arrows Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Roche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rex Marler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Vinström in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Arrows Academy FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marc Tyler hit a great ball. Rex Marler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Botvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Rex Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Käcker in the 62nd minute of play. Rex Marler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Käcker's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Blom in the 68th minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Rex Marler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rex Marler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Käcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Käcker came free, but Rex Marler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rex Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Vinström in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Fredric Botvidsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Rex Marler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Käcker in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Arrows Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Boyce to maneuver through the defense. Knut Blom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rex Marler. Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rex Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Botvidsson in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Käcker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rex Marler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allan Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kind of Blue's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
