Fulgencio Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Roche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 minutes Tetra Pack FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Camron Bullard who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Arrows Academy FC's Camron Bullard to fire away a dangerous shot which Fulgencio Eskuin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 7th match minute, Arrows Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Hill to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Ackroyd during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arrows Academy FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jim Ackroyd hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Merexildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rex Marler was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Rex Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Mateus in the 11th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Roche came free, but Fulgencio Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Merexildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Rex Marler made a huge save. In the 27th minute Braulio Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Marler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Simon Roche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eskuin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Mateus in the 35th minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Rex Marler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Simon Roche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tetra Pack FC's Emilio Osoro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rex Marler. That made the score 1-1 after 48 minutes of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute, George Broom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camron Bullard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Eskuin having to interfere. If Camron Bullard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Tetra Pack FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Mateus. 72 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Osoro came free, but Rex Marler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rex Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Merexildo in the 73rd minute of play. Arrows Academy FC's Rex Marler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Merexildo in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Simon Roche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eskuin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Brian Burgess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-3 became the score in the 88th minute when Simon Roche elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Mateus in the 93rd minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Rex Marler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Kurt Boyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Arrows Academy FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
