In the 6th minute, Damazy Trzemzalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Huk in the 9th minute of play forced Brannik's goalkeeper Antoine Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. J.P. Scott hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Andrzej Indyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Indyk in the 20th minute of play forced Brannik's goalkeeper Antoine Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Cyryl Balkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoine Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrzej Indyk went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Raphael Barnhart fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brannik's protests and gave Raphael Barnhart a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Słodkie Cytryny got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Balkiewicz. Terrell Daniels short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Olgierd Zarobski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Cyryl Balkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Słodkie Cytryny fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Terrell Daniel struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Olgierd Zarobski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brannik. Pat Holcomb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Cullen made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Brannik got a freekick which was hit by Terrell Daniel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyryl Balkiewicz got free with Antoine Daniel in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoine Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Indyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Brannik getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Harry Frederick hit a great ball. The supporters of Brannik booed when Słodkie Cytryny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Jaraczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Wit Huk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoine Daniel. Brannik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wit Huk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Brannik's Antoine Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Brannik from getting a goal against them. Cyryl Balkiewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Antoine Daniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cyryl Balkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Daniel having to interfere. Antoine Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grzegorz Jaraczewski went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Antoine Daniel was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Cyryl Balkiewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cyryl Balkiewicz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Antoine Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Malewicz in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Terrell Daniel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brannik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Słodkie Cytryny the free kick. Słodkie Cytryny played a much better game than Brannik and deserved their victory. The Brannik players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
