After a rather tough play, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Çärkäz Dünyamaliyev got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute of the match Martinez Cardenas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Péter Čech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Made in Paraguay getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ipar Artiz hit a great ball. Arzuman Binnätov hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Péter Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loi Arteaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goal looked a bit too open when Locaio Jerez came free, but Péter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Made in Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Locaio Jerez to maneuver through the defense. Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loi Arteaga in the 43rd minute of the match. Cresencio Felpeto kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Loğman Hacibabayev couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Made in Paraguay. The Şamaxı Bankirlər players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Made in Paraguay were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Şamaxı Bankirlər's zone, Loi Arteaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Čech came out of the goal and Loi Arteaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Made in Paraguay's Locaio Jerez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martinez Cardenas couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Péter Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Locaio Jerez. Berto Romeu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Péter Čech having to make a save.
