After a rather tough play, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Loğman Hacibabayev got a free kick in the 28th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Ahlstedt was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Aqil Bağiyev came free, but Erik Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Sigman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aqil Bağiyev in the 56th minute of play. Loğman Hacibabayev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Erik Sigman made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Zebastian Julin managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalkeeper Erik Sigman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loğman Hacibabayev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aqil Bağiyev in the 70th minute of play forced AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalkeeper Erik Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Edvard Åhman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Loğman Hacibabayev 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Şamaxı Bankirlər's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
