When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Stratos Savouras sped through Manly FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kirby Chant. In the 18th minute, Munroe Brien made a precise shot to the right of Louis Theofilopoulos. Bazellatin F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Stelios Antonatos's late challenge caught a Manly FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stratos Savouras was the one to do the kick off. Stratos Savouras who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Kirby Chant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Isidoros Tsartsikidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stratos Savouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 98 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Kirby Chant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stratos Savouras.
