The supporters of Eibar 09-12-18 booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Larra got free with Diamantino de Queiroz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Eibar 09-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Mesquita came free, but Urbano Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Llanos got free with Diamantino de Queiroz in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Airborne FC booed when Eibar 09-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Larra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gaspar Salbatore fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eibar 09-12-18's protests and gave Gaspar Salbatore a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Eibar 09-12-18 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gaspar Salbatore hit a great ball. Marcelo Paes who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Urbano Tono's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Marcelo Paes was beeing forced to shoot. Airborne FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Eibar 09-12-18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hélio Terra took the corner.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Cai to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Eibar 09-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Christian Cai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Cai in the 54th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Eibar 09-12-18 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Godfredo Louis hit a great ball. With a little luck, Eibar 09-12-18's Urbano Tono got control of the ball when Dudu Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Airborne FC defense, Christian Cai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino de Queiroz. The Airborne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Frank Melo hit a great ball. In the 87th match minute, Airborne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Meira to maneuver through the defense. When Gaspar Salbatore came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Eibar 09-12-18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Salbatore couldn't finish the play. Diamantino de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Eibar 09-12-18's Christian Cai. But to his dismay, Christian Cai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dudu Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Urbano Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
