Adelino Costa started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oséas Tinoco during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oséas Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mathias Bueno got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Hélio Terra made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Eduardo Faria. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Maurício Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Diamantino de Queiroz made a huge save. Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Quirino in the 15th minute of play. Thiago Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thiago Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match, Adelino Costa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diamantino de Queiroz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 22 minutes into the game, Maurício Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Airborne FC the free kick. Hélio Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacá Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hélio Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Faria having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Faria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Terra in the 37th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Adelino Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero Diniz in the 42nd minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cícero Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Terra to make the kick off. Adelino Costa scored 2-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino de Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oséas Tinoco hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Maurício Antunes struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Diamantino de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merusca F&P - CIMZ. Luiz Eduardo Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Terra in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Igor de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurício Antunes in the 63rd minute. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Maurício Antunes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diamantino de Queiroz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Diamantino de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Igor de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Willian de Salles made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Willian de Salles hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Adelino Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor de Azevedo in the 76th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Adelino Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dênis Santos hit a great ball. Diamantino de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor de Azevedo in the 84th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Willian de Salles. 96 minutes into the match, Adelino Costa notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz. Diamantino de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
