Saul Remicio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Fernando Tab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Joel Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrilete Cósmico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Palban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Apolo Ixidor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrilete Cósmico's Fernando Tab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Epifanio Orkatz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Fernando Tab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Ixidor in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Tab saved Barrilete Cósmico from getting behind. Barrilete Cósmico FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lázaro Cesario in the 36th minute. Fernando Tab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Guillem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Maurin in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Tab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jacobo Basualdo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrilete Cósmico's protests and gave Jacobo Basualdo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Jacobo Basualdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Victor Enol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Joel Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Maurin to strike the kick off in the second half. Saul Remicio's late challenge caught a Barrilete Cósmico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Remicio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico FC's Saul Remicio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fernando Tab came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruben Maurin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 87th minute. Fernando Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Maurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barrilete Cósmico FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
