After 7 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico FC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Heriberto. The audience was convinced that Ruben Maurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Tono was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Evaristo Loi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leopoldo Txomin firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Maurin in the 18th minute of play forced Eibar 09-12-18's goalkeeper Urbano Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Tono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben Maurin's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ruben Maurin made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico FC booed when Eibar 09-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eibar 09-12-18's Gaspar Salbatore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leopoldo Txomin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
