Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrice Deltour took the kick off in the first half of the match. Martin Zinsli's late challenge caught a Fierce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Zinsli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Vincenzo Veterini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Zinsli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raoul Leseur having to make a save. Chris Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolphe Goyard in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Valentino Staldegger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Patrice Deltour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Lang came out of the goal and Patrice Deltour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bérenger Laure recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christopher Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Chris Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raoul Leseur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincenzo Veterini, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Martin Zinsli made the kick off in the second half. Raoul Leseur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Zinsli in the 53rd minute of play. Martin Zinsli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Guerrero in the 60th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Chris Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Josef Gladu. Raoul Leseur came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Fribourg's Karsten Eggers. But to his dismay, Karsten Eggers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Blaise Näf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olympique Fribourg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fierce had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
