Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blaise Näf kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Beturian. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Beturian in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chris Lang saved Olympique Fribourg from getting behind. Davide Gubser kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Arturo Madaleno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chris Lang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Olympique Fribourg's Chris Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Beturian in the 14th minute of play. Sepp Gerig took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Otoniel. Benedicto Otoniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Chris Lang came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Escocia's Arturo Madaleno. But to his dismay, Arturo Madaleno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Baltasar Elazar scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chris Lang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chris Lang came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Escocia's Arturo Madaleno. But to his dismay, Arturo Madaleno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 47 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Madaleno came free, but Chris Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Club Atlético Escocia were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Beturian to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Otoniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Zinsli in the 52nd minute of the match. Baltasar Elazar scored 1-5 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chris Lang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arturo Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Chris Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Lang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Elazar in the 63rd minute. If Arturo Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chris Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Madaleno in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Narciso Sauveur hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaise Näf in the 81st minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Benedicto Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Elazar charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Elazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baltasar Elazar kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Celestino Jaen's late challenge caught a Olympique Fribourg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Jaen helped the player get up and apologised. Chris Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Elazar in the 90th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Chris Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Zinsli in the 95th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Benedicto Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. The Club Atlético Escocia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
