Nic Cox was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 58 minutes, Kléber Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Demarchi and the Haithabu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kléber Queirós hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Brecht La Rose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fre Van Acker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brecht La Rose got free with Oscar Saldanha in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the game, Roni Dejonckheere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haithabu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Squadra Demarchi the free kick. Roni Dejonckheere kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Squadra Demarchi's Samuel Ribeiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kevin Peten, made in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the game, Squadra Demarchi's Ernesto Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nic Cox made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Fre Van Acker's late challenge caught a Squadra Demarchi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fre Van Acker helped the player get up and apologised. Fre Van Acker kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Vidal. Ernesto Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
