An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Gomez in the 18th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Helge Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Serafin Pagomari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Helge Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Serafin Pagomari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aves Negras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Helge Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Pagomari in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Aves Negras's protests and gave Isidro Gomez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aves Negras getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Severino Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agne Isaksson in the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Salomon during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Benito Salomon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
