When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Apolo Abeitia put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jeronimo Abella. Martin Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A hard shot by Rolando Furtado from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Jeronimo Abella's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apolo Abeitia in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Abella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leon Aragones. After 39 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Cordaryal. Zuberbühler FC's Siro Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Mambru in the 42nd minute of play. A hard shot 46 in the game by Apolo Abeitia from a close distance when the talented Jeronimo Abella managed to make a qualified save. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s players were relieved. 47 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeronimo Abella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Abeitia. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Abeitia was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Apolo Abeitia made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimo Abella. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 63rd minute Lucas Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Cordaryal in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Apolo Abeitia notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella. Jeronimo Abella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Erramu came free, but Siro Dantel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Nesor charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Nesor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Nesor to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Abella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Abeitia's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 7-1 became the score in the 88th minute when Apolo Abeitia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jeronimo Abella came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Zuberbühler FC's Lucas Ruisko. But to his dismay, Lucas Ruisko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zuberbühler FC had won after a very even match.
