In the 3rd minute Arif Memduh Tenzil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helge Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agne Isaksson in the 6th minute of play forced XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Şentürk Cihanser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Staffan Falck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şentürk Cihanser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Memduh Tenzil during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, XL-Azrail Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Memduh Tenzil to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jesper Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sunkens Surtröjor's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesper Håkansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şentürk Cihanser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the game, Malte Gerdberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Şentürk Cihanser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the game, Arif Memduh Tenzil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helge Bäckström. Arif Memduh Tenzil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Agne Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Orhan Karataş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Helge Bäckström made a huge save. The supporters of XL-Azrail Team booed when Sunkens Surtröjor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Klementsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alemdar Arslanşah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Helge Bäckström. Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 26 minutes, Lars Sundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunkens Surtröjor and the XL-Azrail Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Lars Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sunkens Surtröjor's zone, Ahmet Ziya Sabih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helge Bäckström came out of the goal and Ahmet Ziya Sabih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Johan Lekberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Helge Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Memduh Tenzil in the 31st minute of the match. Sunkens Surtröjor's Helge Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Sunkens Surtröjor from getting a goal against them. Sunkens Surtröjor's Jesper Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alemdar Arslanşah hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Jesper Håkansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şentürk Cihanser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Jesper Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Şentürk Cihanser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helge Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Orhan Karataş in the 43rd minute of the match. Helge Bäckström made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ali Orhan Karataş sent off a good shot on target. Sunkens Surtröjor's Helge Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baykam Özkutsal in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Orhan Karataş to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Sacit Erenoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Helge Bäckström was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Sunkens Surtröjor's Helge Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Orhan Karataş in the 52nd minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match Alemdar Arslanşah sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helge Bäckström skillfully saved the ball. Helge Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baykam Özkutsal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Karl-Johan Lekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Helge Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Orhan Karataş in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baykam Özkutsal during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Şentürk Cihanser made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Agne Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. After 86 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Lars Sundström. Helge Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sacit Erenoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Helge Bäckström came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by XL-Azrail Team's Arif Memduh Tenzil. But to his dismay, Arif Memduh Tenzil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 94th minute, Baykam Özkutsal made a precise shot to the right of Helge Bäckström. Sunkens Surtröjor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The XL-Azrail Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sunkens Surtröjor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
