Hannes Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Veiga in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 10th minute, João Adolfo de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Valério Ramos got control of the ball when Tommy Palmquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Mané Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Walroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Valério Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Claes Håkansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandelocos's Valério Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Paes in the 22nd minute of play forced Sävedalen's goalkeeper Hannes Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tommy Palmquist came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Sävedalen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Palmquist couldn't finish the play. Valério Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Palmquist in the 35th minute. Bandelocos's Valério Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. Valério Ramos made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Tommy Palmquist sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the game, Sävedalen's Tommy Palmquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valério Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored Sävedalen's protests and gave Jan-Erik Larsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sävedalen's Jan-Erik Larsson got a free kick in the 76th minute. Valério Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hannes Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
