Paulo Chandivilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galo Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Gargollo in the 10th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Gargollo in the 12th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Mattos. In the 13th minute, Pedro Coz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Chandivilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Jesus Gargollo made a precise shot to the right of Gil Coelho. Barcellos Mineiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 24 minutes of play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Fellipe Souza made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Chandivilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Fellipe Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Chandivilla. That made the score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Galo Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Chandivilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Teodoro Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Paulo Chandivilla made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, Galo Mineiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Chandivilla. Galo Mineiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Galo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Chandivilla having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Gargollo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Galo Mineiro got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Neto was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Chandivilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galo Mineiro in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galo Mineiro in the 56th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Paulo Chandivilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Gallardo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Souza in the 69th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Paulo Chandivilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saritama Durana charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saritama Durana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Saritama Durana. 72 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gernando Bueno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Chandivilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Chandivilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Neto in the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saritama Durana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Bueno struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Paulo Chandivilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcellos Mineiro FC. After 81 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Mattos. 82 minutes into the match, Red Reign's Pedro Coz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Paulo Chandivilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galo Mineiro in the 84th minute of the match. Red Reign's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
