Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Dante in the 12th minute of play. Valério Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Neto in the 14th minute of the match. Fellipe Souza's late challenge caught a Bandelocos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fellipe Souza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Galo Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Barcellos Mineiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galo Mineiro couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Teodoro Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Valério Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute Fellipe Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Teodoro Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Ramos having to interfere. Cristian Dante struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gil Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandelocos. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Neto made a kick off. Valério Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Neto in the 51st minute. Valério Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Neto in the 54th minute of the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Bandelocos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gernando Bueno took the corner. Teodoro Neto took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Ramos. Valério Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 71 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Galo Mineiro came free, but Valério Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Diamantino Seco hit a great ball. If Teodoro Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bandelocos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Fellipe Souza scored to the left of an out of position Valério Ramos, making the score, 0-5. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sandy Fumarola hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Barcellos Mineiro FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
