The referee ignored ORIZABA F.C.'s protests and gave Ambrosio Isias a yellow card for diving instead. Erubiel Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, ORIZABA F.C.'s Marcelino Domeka got control of the ball when Clodoveo Huly tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Deunoro in the 30th minute of play. ORIZABA F.C. were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Huly to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Viviano took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Domeka. Marcelino Domeka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 58 minutes, Ovidio Deunoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ORIZABA F.C. and the Scofield players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Luisito Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scofield's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Blasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Domeka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Scofield getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Luisito Blasi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Blasi in the 64th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcelino Domeka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Ezkerra during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute Clodoveo Huly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Domeka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ORIZABA F.C. booed when Scofield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Manny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Seguinus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Abel Gilesindo made a huge save. In the 81st minute Gerardo Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Domeka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Clodoveo Huly got a free kick in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Scofield had won after a very even match.
