José Alberto Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdul Aziz Al Holey during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Al Towatan made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Tigers's zone, Victorino Jerrald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Alberto Chilavert came out of the goal and Victorino Jerrald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Javier Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ali Al Towatan came free, but Marcelino Domeka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Sazon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but José Alberto Chilavert made a huge save. José Alberto Chilavert was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Gervasio Sazon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gervasio Sazon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Ovidio Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fawaz Boland came free, but Marcelino Domeka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Golden Tigers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ORIZABA F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
