The Last Try
Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Justo Clementi started the match with the kick off. Ivan Adamčík made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Urbez in the 3rd minute. Tibor Barmoš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When AFK Petržalka's Viktor Pištovič in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El ultimo's goalie prevented a goal. AFK Petržalka's Ivan Adamčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Clementi in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Barmoš came free, but Niceto Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Viktor Pištovič nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Pere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Victorio Berdaitz lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 17 minutes into the game, one of El ultimo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 30th minute, El ultimo's Justo Clementi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After 33 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Pištovič. After 36 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Kaľavský. Justo Hermelando was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tomáš Nickler hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Tibor Barmoš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Gabriel Trenčan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, AFK Petržalka's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justo Clementi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Pištovič made a kick off. Ivan Adamčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Clementi in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Clementi in the 52nd minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Ivan Adamčík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Diego Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Nickler tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Tibor Barmoš came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibor Barmoš couldn't finish the play. Viktor Pištovič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, El ultimo's Niceto Pere got control of the ball when Tibor Barmoš tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goalkeeper Niceto Pere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tibor Barmoš. Viktor Pištovič hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Justo Clementi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ivan Adamčík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El ultimo. Niceto Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Barmoš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Justo Clementi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Adamčík was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the game, Tomáš Nickler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFK Petržalka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El ultimo the free kick. In the 85th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Nickler to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Clementi in the 85th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Ivan Adamčík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Viktor Pištovič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFK Petržalka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Pištovič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AFK Petržalka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
