In the 23rd minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Laerte Marquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niceto Pere. Niceto Pere yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Victorio Berdaitz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Justo Hermelando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute of the match El ultimo got a corner. 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justo Hermelando ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37th minute, Armandinho Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Benicio Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ultimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Felipillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes, Armandinho Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 卡納里尼奧 FC and the El ultimo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Armandinho Pombal hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laerte Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo de Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th match minute, El ultimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Felipillo got in the 75th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Carlos Marinho handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 78 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Marinho. Agostinho Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Niceto Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Marinho to maneuver through the defense. The nice shot from Benito Urbez in the 84thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Carlos Marinho had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Justo Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Marinho having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Justo Clementi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlos Marinho, passed just outside the right post. 96 minutes into the game, Benito Urbez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Carlos Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
